Cons, would you rather be in slavery, or dependent on welfare?

just wondering...Bundy seems to think that welfare is so horrible that slavery is better...

doesn't that seem silly?

Update:

even if he was just "concerned about the poor"?

Update 2:

Texas: the person on welfare can leave at any time, isn't legal property and doesn't get beaten...

hey, who cares about facts, right? you have your comically naive and hyper emotional sentimentality that whitewashes slavery to get you through... the one where the slaves enjoyed it..

Update 3:

Brandon, I'm out of comments, but you have nothing but to attack me... you have no answers... cons clearly have said this on here and you CAN SIMPLY NOT STAND UP TO THE HEAT OF YOUR OWN COMMENTS...

I'm asking about what cons say... and you desperately want me to stop because you know how bad this is

    Neither.

I don't wish to be owned by either a private party or the government.

I don't like being told how I should live.

Well, that's a trick question -- because most conservatives are slaves to right wing media --- like FOX and Rush L.

I guess a slave. It beats sitting around doing nothing as "professional poor".

" Do Welfare Programs Constitute Modern Slavery?"

"You know, if you were a slave in the old South, what did you get as a slave? You got free room and board, you got free money, and you got rewarded for having children because that was just, you know, tomorrow's slave ...

Can I ask a question? How's that different from welfare? You get a free house, you get free food, and you get rewarded for having children, you know - tomorrow's vote. Oh, wait a minute, hold on a second. There is a difference: The slave had to work for it."

Aren't those the choices we are given with the health insurance mandate? Either be poor enough to get health insurance for free, or be required to work for the benefit of the mastah insurance exec.

What part of being a slave to Government don't you get.

People like Bundy seem to be unaware of things like the beatings and families being ripped apart sold that took place during slavery.

Neither, I'd rather be the employed American taxpayer that I am. You'll find if you quit blaming others for your problems, and stop worrying so much as who has what, you'd have time to appreciate what you've actually earned in life.

Those must be the only choices the Demonrats have to offer. Slave to the government or prison.
