Does this sentence make sense?"I believe you can expedite the time it takes for me to reach my goals"?

If it doesn't make sense can you give me something to substitute for expedite so that it does. I'm looking for a synonym for accelerate.

expedite is ok, try a few other words to see how you feel about them. For example:

speed up, accelerate, shorten, reduce, precipitate...

Actually, the whole sentence is a bit complicated and wordy. How about "You can help me reach my goals sooner". Much more direct and to the point. A helpful rule of thumb is that if you're having trouble finding a word to make the sentence work, it might be the rest of the sentence that's faulty.

How about: I believe you can speed up the time it takes me to reach my goals.
