How much better was Reagan's GDP growth in actual numbers than Obama's?
cons make all kinds of allegations... I asked cons to support their claim...and no one seemingly could... so I went off to do my own research... and...
in 2009, GDP was 14.219...
in 2013, five or so years in, it's 15.684... 1.465 trillion growth
Reagan in 81 was 2.762...
and in 1988 was 4.698.... 1.936 Trillion growth in 8 years, which was more than Obama's granted... in 8 years
and just for sillies, after five years (like Obama's term so far) in 86, Reagan had 4.184
that's 1.422 gain...
LOL AT EDGAR... I am happy to look at all angles... but percentages seem like a POOR measure as the numbers were so low for Reagan when he started...
that's like looking at percentage improvement for someone who was making F's and took them up to C's and saying they're doing much better than someone who took a B+ to an A...
the simple fact is... you are the one that doesn't want to look at my numbers and you just run off and call names...
my numbers stand... if you don't want to talk about them and talk about jockstraps... I think we can see who wants to avoid the conversation here...

Your figures are good, but to some extent they are apples and oranges due to very different variables.

Reagan is the one who started the US into the abyss with his voodoo economics, trickle down theory. The only thing that has trickled down is the wages of the middle class. Everything else has sky rocketed, except jobs.

We don't do percentages, do we, "liberal" - except when it's to our benefit, right?
This is the sort of argument a seventh grader would make...before the teacher pointed out how weak it is.
I mean really, honey, you're going to suggest that...The One...is qualified to carry Reagan's jockstrap when he's raised GDP by 10% over five years and Reagan raised it by 51% over his first five years? Seriously? Ooohhhhh, okay - yeah, sure, we get it.
