Donald Sterling's words.?

I don't have a problem with the actions of the NBA and their reaction to the Sterling recording. My problem is with the manner in which the tape was generated and obtained. Does that mean that we no longer have a right to a private conversation? Your Thoughts!

Clearly she set him up, and maybe he has a case...not sure if anyone would want the case though.

the NBA is a private entity and as such they have the right to police themselves..however, I AM disturbed at the large numbers of people who think that Sterling should be punished by out government for his comments!..the 1st Amendment applies to HIM too, ya know!

legally, you can record EVERY CONVERSATION YOU HAVE WITH ANYONE...

the gov. can't... well... couldn't before the patriot act... but that normal person you're talking to could be recording it...

now... if they don't tell you they are recording it, it can't be used in court generally... but they can post it online and everyone else can make all kinds of comments and opinions on it...

is it "moral"... it seems a little shady to me... but I don't think it should be illegal either exactly..

You hit it on the head! There is no excuse for all the crap that guy is getting and being dragged through the mud by amongst others, trash like Snoopy Dog Lion or whatever that idiot calls himself...

What he said, though it doesn't matter, wasn't even direct or obscene. How would you feel if your grandmother was treated like scum for the crime of talking to a confidant? I would be livid...

It was generated with Sterling's knowledge. IT is the release of it where there is controversy..

No. He can sue his ex girlfriend for her actions if he so chooses.

Are you important enough, rich enough, have enough of a high profile, affect the lives of enough people, and enough of a "somebody" to be quoted on virtually everything at virtually everytime?

If not, you got nothing to worry about.
