Trap and Skeet Question?
Who knows the difference between "Standard and International" Trap and Skeet.
Both disciplines have the same number of targets. Both have the same shooting "Stations" as well the same rotation in trap. Who can tell me the differences from there in each discipline??

Here's a link that explians it well.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trap_shooting
The main difference in Trap is Olympic Trap uses 15 fixed-angle machines as opposed to the single oscillating machine used in American Trap or DTL. The 15 machine computer controlled program is designed to deliver 10 left, 10 right and 5 straight-away targets to each competitor in a randomized sequence. A microphone release system is employed to provide uniformity in target release times.
Here's the info on Skeet.

First of all, trap and skeet are different.
Trap involves targets flying away from you
Skeet involves targets flying sideways across the field in front of you.
The difference between standard skeet vs international skeet has to do with the size & shape of the clay targets as well as how fast and how far the targets travel.
