My cat is missing!?

Ok I have this Pregnant cat that is my world. Every morning she greets me at the barn and waits on me to feed the horse to get hers. Every afternoon she beats me to her feeding block for afternoon feeding. I had her in my room last night (shes an outside cat) petting her and she was really liking the stomach rubs. Every now and then I could see the babies move inside her stomach. I figured it was about time. I locked her in the barn last night because she couldn't stay in the house. And somehow she got out of the barn. My father in law saw her this morning and said she was still pregnant. Like I said I haven't seen her all day. Should I be worried? She is me baby. I know if she did have her kittens that she will be with them and not come when I call. But the thing that crosses my mind is, what if she had difficulties during labor? I have heard of people saying there was a kitten that got stuck and it killed the mom and in turn the babies because the mom died. Im just a nervous wreck. Has anyone had this happen? How did you handle it? Thanks in Advance! (:

Pregnant cats are notorious for leaving their "sanctuary" to birth their kittens. Search for her and let neighbors know of her situation. Post fliers... But wait a day or two. Because my cat ran away yesterday and returned today. Take some food around your property and shake it around. It may encourage her to come out (she may be hungry). Sorry about your kitty, I'm sure she will show up! I'm sure she needs you just as much as you need her!

The cat clearly is not your world since you care so little about it you bred the cat and refused to have the cat spayed and let it roam lose

    'She is me baby."

The cat is not your baby. You bred it and let it roam and don't car enough to have it spayed or kept indoors. Its not rare at all for cats to DIE giving birth. Kittens born outside are often KILLED baby wild animals, left to starve by the mother, killed by other cats, killed by parasites and worse

If the cat was you 'world' and was 'your baby' then why are you subjecting the cat to die by living outside and subjecting the cat to be at massive risk of ending up dead becouse you bred it and didn't spay it and subjecting the kittens to die in horrible ways.......

" How did you handle it?'

By finding the cat, taking it to a vet, having a gravid spay done and keeping the cat indoors.
