Where was the President?

Not only OB but Hilllary. She was Sect'y of state. It was her job to protect that Embassy because it was a real "hot spot". Why didn't she do that? Why did she slam her fist down on the table during the Benghazi hearings and say "at this point, what difference does it make?"

They were both probably hiding in the WH bunker to make sure they were safe while our Ambassador and 3 others were killed.

This was so tragic and perhaps someone will be held accountable for 4 unncessary deaths.

I can't image what the other Ambassadors feel like today....do they feel safe? Will our government do their job and provide adequate protection?

He was at the White House exactly where he was supposed to be. He was following some of it on a video feed, also communicating with commanders in the field that way, and taking phone calls from others.

In the White House until he was told about the incident then he made the announcement that he presumed it was a reaction to the video. I dont know why this is important anyway. When diplomats go to these dangerous locations they know the risk. During the Bush regime 13 attacks on U.S. embassies occurred and the Dems were stupid and didnt harp on them.

If Obama knew some diplomats were going to be killed he would have done something about it but he did not have a crystal ball.

He was DEMONSTRATING total disinterest.

He made one phone call, one, and didn't even do a follow up. He went to bed, and Clinton herself only sent out one message.
