Do the democrats want to leave the final determination n the matter to a panel of only republicans? Sure they can say any report is biased because there were no democrats and be countered by being told democrats refused to participate. Sarah please identify the 50 hearings that have been held and the chairman of each. Here's the thing, there were security breaches. The white house recently revealed e mails it withheld from initial requests by congress for information, that is an issue and the reason Boehner who resisted all along the republican calls for an inquest to give in. Believe me the high millions of dollars will not cover the costs of 50 hearings and briefings. The state department ordered 5 million dollars worth of wine glasses too, so why not gripe about that as well. Bush is out of office so who cares what did or did not happen then. If congress wanted to investigate they could have. Now me, if I am a democrat, I want democrats on that panel if only to keep republicans honest. Giving them free rein is foolish.

There have already been 50 republican congressional hearings, interviews, and briefings on Benghazi. Citing a March 11 Pentagon letter, the AP reported how millions in funding have been funneled away from other Department of Defense responsibilities to "repetitive requests for information from about 50 congressional hearings, briefings and interviews," and the Pentagon determined that "[t]he total cost of compliance with Benghazi-related congressional requests sent to the department and other agencies is estimated to be in the high millions of dollars."

This is FAR more than the NONEXISTENT hearings for the 13 other Benghazis that happened under Bush, or the 56 US embassy workers that were killed during those attacks. It also exceeds the number of hearings on 9/11, despite 3,000 American deaths on US Soil. It's a ridiculous partisan witch hunt.
