What gun is this?
So I heard of this gun on a show on the military channel from the World War II. It is made by the allies and the point was because they had a past gun that made a very loud ring like side when it was empty because the magazine ejected through the side which would show the Germans when they were out of ammo and they would come out of cover and shoot ....... So the gun that I want to know about is supposed to make the same sound every two or three shots which tricked them to stick there heads up and they would still be sitting there ready to pull the trigger... Thanks ahead of time it was made in the US by the way and all i need is the name to do extra research please

The M1 Garand makes that noise when the spent clip is ejected. GIs became creative and simulated the noise but there was no weapon designed to make this sound.

During the airborne landings on D-day the American forces were issues with clicker devices. You would click two times to identify yourself and the person you were challenging would do the same thing to be recognised as a friend. Unfortunately the bolt action on the German Mauser sounded virtually the same and many solders were shot while getting out of cover because they weren't expecting opposition. This isn't what you were thinking of, was it? Generally you don't build a gun to make a specific noise.

The gun you are thinking of is the M1 Garand and the story you are thinking of is a total myth (☦ICXCNIKA ☦ has a good video link). There was no gun that deliberately made this sound to trick anyone (that would be stupid). The myth is that GIs through empty clips on the ground to fake the sound. However, the battlefield was simply too noisy for the Germans to hear the ping, whether from the ejected clip or someone trying to imitate it by throwing it to the ground. Even if it did, the guy usually had his buddies and the Garand can be loaded pretty quickly. (And the myth story is always about the Germans and never the Japanese).
George Patton call the M1 Garand "the greatest battle implement ever devised", which it was because because it was leaps ahead of most rifles on the battlefield (except maybe the German STG44, which came out at the end of the war, too late).

The M1 Garand magazine ejected out of the top, not the side.

Based on your description, Your badly referring to the M-1 Garand service rifle. Used by the US From 1936 till about 1956. The Garand used a 8 shoot enblock clip that when empty; it made a notable ping noise.

No it made a ping because the en-bloc clip was ejected.
You're talking about the M1 Garand. The Ping was indeed loud enough for the enemy to know you were out of ammo. That's why GIs/Marines started to collect the empty en-bloc clips to throw them on the ground and make the ping sound. When the enemy heard that, they'd raise up and then get shot.
