Need help with the Las Vegas strip transit system?

I'm staying at the Luxor. My wife wants to see a show called "Jersey Boys" at the Paris.

I know I can take the free tram from the Luxor to NY,NY.

I recall I once rhode a monorail by the MGM (?) to the North.

MapQuest is reading the 2 are almost a mile apart. That may be too long of a walk for her. MapQuest shows make a right at "X" a left at "X". Sounds complicated. Don't I just go North on Las Vegas Blvd.?

Worst scenario we have to take a cab.

Any suggestions other then a cab? I'm trying to save a few bucks to lose in the casino :(

Any help will be appreciated!

2nd Q how can 3799 Las Vegas Boulevard South be a mile from 3655 Las Vegas Boulevard South? In theory it sounds like it should be a block away.

You can take the Deuce bus which runs up and down the strip. The cost will be about five dollars. Walking from Luxor to Paris will probably be much longer than 15 minutes, but if you did just look for the Stratosphere and walk up Las Vegas Blvd towards that. It takes.about that long to get from MGM to Planet Hollywood. Luxor and Paris are farther apart. Additionally, you could take free tram from Luxor to Excalibur. The paid monorail station is at the MGM which is catty corner across the street. That will stop at the Paris/ Ballys. Cost is about $12 to ride the monorail for 24 hours. Free option would be to walk to Monte Carlo from NY NY and take the free tram to City Center. Paris will be across the street. Blocks are longer then you might think in Las Vegas. There is a lot of walking involved even if you decide to take a cab.

It is a 15 minute walk.

The monorail is a little out of the way for you, and honestly a taxi would be your cheapest option. It should cost you around $10 or less.

3799 is about a block from 3655. However, on that street the block is about a mile long.

Go to the Las vegas transit website. www.rtcsnv.com

I use it quite often when going to a new address especially when I first moved here. Type in the address that you're starting from and the address that you're going to and also the time that you are departing or the time that you want to arrive and it will tell you exactly what bus to catch and when to go to the bus stop.

Walk and you will get there faster than a cab. It is a very safe area, with lots of other tourists out there. Right now - May - the weather is fabulous.
