How to water my crown of thorns?

I have a tiny crown of thorns in a pot indoors. I've been watering it almost everyday it seems like! I wake up, check my plants, and that one always has incredibly dry soil even if I watered it just the day before.

Is the soil bad? I got it from a good nursery (and it would be a challenge to replant it ha ha...)

Other than that it seems pretty happy! Looks better than when I bought it.

So should I water everyday or go every other day?

Crown of thorns are suggested to be planted indoor and in a good potting soil with a drainage hole to drain out excessive water. It's important to water them regularly. If the soil is permitted to dry within an inch depth between weekly water schedules then that should be fine. Some people install water misting systems so that they won't forget to water their crown of thorns.

You should also be careful not to over-water because it will result to spongy stems, leaf loss, and would prevent the crown of thorns to bloom. Lastly, make sure to test the soil for moisture -- keep watch for leaf-droop to signal that in needs more water.
