What is a good cheap laptop?

Question

I need a laptop for university so I will primarily be using it for research. However, I would also like something with a decent graphics card (that is not integrated) so I can play games on it in my down time.

My budget is about $400-500 Any suggestions? I'm looking on Amazon, office depot, best buy, and walmart.
