Why do people even say "nobody cares"?

Often when we judge or philosophize with the words we mindfully construe (dualistically constructed), we actually tell others where we are. (This is not something we're always consciously aware of especially when pointing fingers)

-Usually it's because THEY Don't- Either ! And That's What's REALLY Sad... ! :o

If you think people saying "I don't care" or "No one cares" means the exact opposite of that..... I'd start by examining why you think this to be the case. Because really..... it doesn't make any sense despite the fact that you apparently think that it does.

Let me give you an example:

I'm walking down the street, heading to meet a friend. A street preacher is on the corner ahead. I continue to walk, I get to the corner, and he says "Have you accepted Jesus as your lord and savior?" I respond with, "I really don't care what brand of crazy you are selling today" and cross the street.

Your conclusion: I really DO care what this lunatic has to say.

My conclusion: If I cared.... I would not have stated otherwise and kept walking.

Because they are annoyed by that certain person. They say that. Maybe because, the person in their life, is a drama queen and mopes of their problems to much. Their has been people in my life I have felt like saying that to. "Hey Nobody Cares". Hahahaha

Eh! I bet they just want attention which is annoying because they're getting it!

Its a figure of speech and not meant to be taken literally. We use many figurative statements like "all you need is love" which if you take literally its nonsensical.

Because nobody cares.
