Toddler keeps saying "mommy, mommy, mommy" if she cant see me? age 2?

My toddler seems to be going through seperation anxiety again. (she did when she was younger) but learned object permanence and now it seems she is forgetting about object permenence, If I go to the bathroom she is calling me and I tell her Im in the bathroom then she says mommy again 5 seconds later.

is this a game to her or is it really seperation anxiety again? she is almost 2 (23 months)

My daughter's 20 months. The first time my child calls me, I answer right away. I might even answer the second time depending on the situation, but anything after that annoys me, so I just let my daughter know. I say, "Enough. I don't like that." or I just say, "Stop that. Go play." Or I'll give a suggestion for something she or we can do instead. She's a good listener, she usually cuts it out and finds something else to do.

My son did that around 2 1/2, but he would repeat mommy until I said what, even if he could see me and I was looking straight at him. Sometimes even then he would just wait a few seconds and then say mommy again. It drove me crazy because he never actually wanted anything. He did grow out of it, but it took a long time.

My little cousin is 2 and and she does the same exact thing. She will say "mommy" about 10 times than she would stop, wait awhile and say it 10 more times. She is still a baby, give it time. She will grow out of it.
