Did Dick Cheney rig 911 to invade Iraq?

After Cheney circumvented the laws preventing the NSA from tapping anyone's phone and reading their emails. A couple NSA employees complained that they should closely watch communications from Arabic speaking people in this country and the Middle East. Cheney told them not to bother.

He wanted the NSA to spy on other things unrelated to terrorist activities. The people in the NSA were humiliated and sidelined.

As Cheney spent a good part of his time during the Clinton administration plotting to invade Iraq, he needed a plausible reason to do so.

The bush family and former secretary of state, James Baker were very close to Saudi royalty. Osama bin Laden was from Saudi Arabia and his family still lived there. They could have told Cheney an attack was planned. They had the means to find out. All the terrorists that struck on 911 were Saudi. How could the Saudi government not know?

Even Richard Clark was clamoring for a meeting with g.w.bush to warn him of an imminent attack. He never got an appointment until the day after 911. Then it was too late. Condoleezza Rice bush's National Security Advisor, never paid any attention to him.

Other warnings from FBI agents were also ignored.

All this fits nicely into Cheney's attack plan. Do you think an investigation can find out?

In a way, YES. The Bush administration ignored warnings that something was going to happen with the terrorists. This ignorance led up to 9/11. Could they have stopped it? Who knows? But they didn't even try, that is the sad part of the whole thing. 3000 people died because of this and the bums go on and on and on an on about Benghazi, where only 4 died. Anyone dying is bad, but 3000 is a lot worse than 4.

muslims kidnap 300 girls, rape them, and sell them as sex slaves. Then, they execute Christian women. I support killing muslims as often as possible on the battlefield. Mosques on American soil should be bulldozed and burned to the ground, islam is EVIL.

No, he did not. I don't like the guy but I don't like those who falsified the events to fit in their certain agenda.

The reality is that Iraq never fully complied with terms set forth in their 1991 ceasefire agreement. They openly refused access repeatedly to UN weapons inspectors (themselves creating tge illusion they still had WMD's) and regularly, weekly targeted American aircraft patrolling the no-fly zones for almost ten years. That rationale gave us a reason to go after Saddam Hussein and forced him to comply with the 1991 ceasefire treaty.

I don't know where you liberals get this stuff. Dick Cheney, as former VP was not a major player in the administration. Sure, Bush sought his counsel, and Cheney was very influential in Bush's decision making. But the VP has no real job. He is there in case something happens to the President. The executive branch is the President, and the President holds all power in that branch. So all these claims you are making about Cheney are bogus because Cheney had no such authority to do any of it. Please take a civics class and learn more about government before asking questions that make you look dumb.
