Wedding bouquet help? Flower choices?
I'm going to be having a December wedding and need some help choosing the flowers for my bouquet. My favorite flower has always been carnations and I know they will be in season. What else is? Or what else would look good with carnations?
Also our wedding colors are mint, gold, white and navy as an accent color. Difficult colors as far as flowers go, but what do you think would look good? I need someone with more experience than I have! Thanks!

Go with all white flowers with perhaps accent ribbon in one of your colors. You could add color with crystal beads on the heads of white rose buds or stephanotis. You could carry a pompadour (flower ball). Standard carnations are great for those. Be aware that pompadours require a lot of flowers and they are heavy. They would need to be hung somewhere when not being carried.
You could do an all standard carnations clutch or carnations with white full bloom cabbage roses. Carnations with baby roses would work and stephanotis would also look good. For something less conventional perhaps white anthuriums would be nice along with carnations.
Rather than a clutch, you could have a cascade with branches of orchids and include carnations. Gardenias wedding bouquets are lovely http://www.pinterest.com/explore/gardenia-wedding-...
Perhaps calla lilies or regular white lilies? All the flowers mentioned are available year round from your florist.
