How do I make red tattoo ink?

First off if you're going to suggest red ink pens then don't bother. I'm not an idiot.

Basically If I want to make a red tattoo ink what can I use that's easily bought or found at home? I have a small tattoo that needs touch up. It's a solid design. Nothing fancy. I tried repeatedly to get it touched up but the person who did it's a jackass, it's been over two years and I ain't shelling out a bunch of money to modify a less than ~1 square inch of skin that should've been done right in the first place. The red faded away and now the contrast against the black is ****.

I know I'd need to suspend a pigment in like glycerin and water. I'd be willing to grind something up in my mortar and pestle or even make one from my lighter fluid. I know naptha is used to make a red pigment i just don't know how. Google isn't help either because everyone is worried about how they react to it .
