What specs should I get for the PC I'm building?

I'm going to build a gaming PC. I want to know what GPU I should get, what processor I should get, etc. I will need to be able to run games like Battle Field 4 on max graphics with AT LEAST 60FPS. I have a budget of 1000$, but I'm willing to go over a little. Thanks.

    Hello,

It will be hard to ensure your PC plays BF4 with at least 60 FPS at max settings while staying close to a 1K budget. For example the minimum video card to consistently keep the game running at 60FPS would be an nvidia GTX 780. The pricing on that card averages around $700. The other components to compliment a quality GPU like that would be the following:

    Intel i5 3.2Ghz

    8GB Quality Ram

SSD Hard Drive 250GB or more

600 watt or more quality Power Supply

    Quality ASUS Motherboard.

    Case

    DVD Optical Drive

Those components alone will put you above 1K. They would provide a good foundation to later upgrade the CPU, RAM, and possibly add another GTX 780 for SLI mode.

I recently purchased a WolfPack PC Alpha system at wolfpackpc.com for work and gaming. All the games I play have very high frame rates. For a little bit more than 1K you should be able to get a system that will achieve your goals for gaming.

    i5 4670k

    8GB of ram

check this out to choose your gpu, I cant recommend one since I dont know exactly what you want but I would recommend at least 2GB of onboard memory

The other stuff like mobo and hdd is up to you and your needs and will not effect the performance of the game greatly but dont cheap out or you could find failing parts

You're building a gaming computer but you have no idea about the components you need :/ why would you even attempt to try building a computer when you have no idea what you need?

This is like asking: How do I complete a jigsaw puzzle?

Answer: You can't if you don't learn how to or understand how the pieces fit.
