A question about Poison Ivy (DC Comics)?
So I'm always seeing comics where the character poison ivy is featured. But sometimes her skin is green and sometimes her skin is normal white. So why does she keep changing color? And which one is her main color?

her first appearance was as a normal-toned human. it was over time that she developed chlorophyll and green skin.
"Despite retaining in her earlier appearances her Caucasian, red-haired appearance, in time the amount of vegetable toxins and chlorophyll in her tissue tinted her skin permanently green. After years of practice, she regained the ability to consciously control her appearance, restoring herself to an almost fully human facade, with only her lips and eyes tinted a bright shade of green."

mostly, though, it's artistic license -- some want to portray her as "normal human with a tragic backstory", while others want to show her as something not-quite-human-any-more.
