Newer or bigger?
Just wanted to get a different point of view- I am going to finance a vehicle. My husband and I just had a baby and plan to have another in about a year. We currently have a sedan and find the space pretty tight. I am also concerned about gas mileage and reliability for the next few years. We can get a newer, larger sedan or an older SUV or crossover. Which makes sense?

Don't rule out station wagons! The european ones are even pretty stylish (jetta/passat wagon, Saab, BMW).

This question isn't easily answered with the information you've provided. A lot depends on where you live. How are your winters? Do you live in a mountainous area? Do you have to buy or is leasing an option for you? There are a lot of factors to consider here.

If you drive in snow, a Subaru is a good choice. If not, a minivan is most practical.
