Do you like Friday The 13th movie?

I don't really like the 1980 movie, nor the 2009 one (Although there are hot guys there...), I think the movie is a bit of cliche like every other movie with such a plot - a group of party teenagers, chased by killer with a mask. Yeah, yeah. Although everything I think it's not so bad like its sequels. The sequels ******* destroyed everything likable in the movie. Like Jason X and Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan, for example. And the deaths in them...Frozen a girl's face with liquid nitrogen and then smashes it. What the f*ck? When are they going to learn, not the blood and the gore makes a horror movie - the tension does! The same sh*t is with Halloween, Saw, Wrong Turn, Jeepers Creepers, Nightmare on Elm Street, Hostel, Jaws (and all the cheesy movies with sharks, crocodiles or mutant snakes) , even Final Destination (but I love the franchise because they always put hot guys in every movie). If you want blood, you can watch Spartacus or The Tudors and they will be scarier than these slasher jerk-offs. Look, The Ruins is one of the bloody movies, which actually I liked and it scared me. Children of the Corn is scary. And I totally get scared from Insidious and The Blair With Project.

If you get scared by The Blair Witch Project I honestly can't help you. The ORIGINAL Final Destination was a great horror movie. Something about adding knowing it was about to happen just helped the movie(even creepier when you consider using John Denver's song, had a couple subtle things that you don't really pay attention to as they happen). Anyway you have to remember that Friday the 13th and the original Nightmare on Elm Street weren't as cliche in their day. Now you have basically 2-3 horror movies, minimum, a year doing this story line. Now people are too lazy to do thriller movies over just blood and gut.

The story has a lot of mindless filler, though I loved the ending of the original.

Have you seen The Ring? This is my favorite scary movie -- it really gets at you.

    Other movies:

    Eden Lake

    The Descent

    The Bay

    The Skeleton Key

    Sinister

    The Conjuring

I like all the Friday The 13th series except for Jason X

The original one from 1980 was it, is a classic. You are too young to appreciate it. All these scary movies today are such ****. Once in a long string of them do you see a half decent one.

All these Paranormal Activity movies are crap. Mama was crap.

Friday the 13th, the first one, was great. The chilling music, the direction, the story within the story.

Jeepers Creepers wasn't really that gory, that movie actually really freaked me out...lol, I actually really dislike gory movies, it is very true that gore does not make the movie. The first Saw movie was very good and gave me the creeps, it also doesn't have much gore, a little but not a lot, it was more of a psychological horror film. The rest of them are pure garbage! Hostel ruined gory movies for me, seriously that movie was disgusting and I have refused to watch gory movies since then. I think everyone can agree that sequels are usually garbage compared to the actual movie, the quality goes down with each film.

I enjoyed the most recent Friday the Thirteenth movie because my brother in law is good friends with the guy who actually played Jason.
