Arms very itchy from sunburn?

I got a really bad sunburn during Mother's Day on both arms. Now, it has been a few weeks and they are still very itchy.

I moisturize them multiple times a day. Is this normal?

    I always say call the doc just to be sure you don't have a superficial skin infection. You can try 1 or 2% benadryl cream mixed with a 1% hydrocoritsone cream (both over the counter) and see if that helps the itching! And remember sun screen sun screen sun screen! That new healed skin is extra sensitive now!

    Try taking a benadryl!
