Finding Y-intercept of y=(3x/x+4)-5?
I made x=0
So I end up with:
y= (0/4)-5
Does the divide by zero mean the graph doesn't cross the y-axis? Would I say y is undefined?
Thanks for your help!

y = 3x / (x + 4) - 5
y-int.: x = 0,
y = 3(0) / (0 + 4) - 5
y = (0 / 4) - 5
y = 0 - 5
y = - 5
y-int. (0, - 5)

To find the y-intercept, u just put, x=0, so in this function, the y-intercept would be
y = (0/4) - 5
y = -5
so the intercept is just, (0,-5)
