If homemade using the right ingredients, it is very good for you. I make curry with onions, garlic, coconut milk, fresh grated ginger, honey, butter, turmeric, cumin, cinnamon, cardamon, coriander, cayenne pepper, sea salt, and black pepper. I think the combination of spices makes it very healthy. I add it to beans and rice, I love it! You can also add it to chicken, lamb, seafood, etc.

Homemade traditional and with correct ingredients can be good for you. Gee is very fattening but great for curries.

Try mutton (lamb) curry not that high in fat. it's great. try buffalo curry if you get a chance, seriously. it's very low in fat.
