As above, or even allow these safer "smart" guns. The NRA won't be satisfied until school classes look like short SWAT teams.

No there hasnt been any more school shootings since 1996,but you just cant compare us to the US. While the people in the UK accept anti gun legislation,them in America certainly wont.Its a big political issue. They wont even accept checking for mental illness in case its the thin edge of the wedge to more restrictions.
In the UK few people even think of guns.
