American Airline voucher for $1000?
My friend had a ticket voucher worth $1000 that can be used towards any Tickets you just have to be traveling by July 1st. She's not going to be able to use it and kind of upset that she's out a grand. Is there any good websites where people might be looking to buy something like this cheap. She'd take pretty much anything at this point for it. Like I said you must be traveling by July 1st on American Airlines.

She should make sure that the credit is transferable and is that 1000 before or after the ticket reissue fee? I've sold vouchers through Craigslist but never bought. Expect about half to two thirds of the value. She might also contact 'make a wish' and see if she can donate the voucher. I believe the voucher only has to be redeemed by July 1st for travel within a year from the booking date. She might be able to get a tax deduction but at the very least, it would go to a good cause.

There are ads on e-bay and Craig's list for vouchers. Personally, I would never buy one second hand because many of them are non transferable and thee are a lot of scams on line for these.
