  • forgivable offence?

So I caught my boyfriend posting an ad in the causal encounter section of Craigslist. When confronted he came up with a ridiculous story about wanting to see if I would see it blah, blah, blah...lies, lies, lies. I'm beyond upset and angry right now. Should I even try to forgive him or just move on? The ad was over two weeks old, but had been updated that day.

what do you think of these solutions?

So let's say your city was experiencing a major influx of homeless people. How would you rather your city deal with them? The spike are being used all over London and around Asian cities. While below there's a link with an example of how an American city has proposed handling the problem. Would you rather live among them? Have them asking for money every time your at the ATM? Have them sleeping on your front steps and digging in your garbage?

  • What's so wrong with Fracking?

So the NC general assembly has approved fast tracking a fracking bill. I for one think it's a good thing! The economy in North Carolina was decimated in the late 90's when the textile industry was outsourced, and it has never recovered. The official unemployment number is about 6.2, but trust me it's much higher than that. I personally know men who have gone to North Dakota and worked at the drilling sites there, because they couldn't find work here. They are paid $40 an hour, plus room and board! I'm talking about guys with little to no education beyond high school and some even have criminal records. Then you have the economic benefit of trucks hauling the product away from the drilling site, trucks hauling materials to the drilling site, and local businesses like restaurants that will benefit from all the new people being around.

What's so awful about it? please don't feed me that "oh it will pollute the water" line. Have you seen what happened at Dan River thanks to Duke Energy? That's been going on for years in NC our water is polluted all over the state because of Duke Energy, and politicians from both sides have protected them. Bev Perdue certainly didn't do anything to protect us.

  • American Airline voucher for $1000?

My friend had a ticket voucher worth $1000 that can be used towards any Tickets you just have to be traveling by July 1st. She's not going to be able to use it and kind of upset that she's out a grand. Is there any good websites where people might be looking to buy something like this cheap. She'd take pretty much anything at this point for it. Like I said you must be traveling by July 1st on American Airlines.

  • How do you feel about this situation?

From a legal and a social perspective, how do you feel about this situation? Please read first:

    http://news.yahoo.com/waitress-red-lobster-sued-1-...

If you read the story carefully it states that multiple handwriting experts have analyzed it and concluded it was unlikely that Mr.Barnes or his wife wrote it. Also, now when asked the waitress says she doesn't think he wrote it either. I'm constantly hearing that only whites can be racist, this just seems to me like the girl projected how she felt into her actions. Maybe they didn't leave a tip because they didn't stay for the meal and that's it. So is it possible that much of the "racism" black people talk about is just in their heads being projected out into situations?

  • If I sold a house and did an owner finance agreement with the buyer, what happens if I have to repo it?

I sold a house 15 years ago in the state of Texas. Some things have happened and it looks like I'm going to be forced to repossess the house. I'm in the process of getting a lawyer. I now live on the other side of the country so it's going to take some time. My question is, I know how bank foreclosures work where you auction off the property and pay the mortgage off plus any other lien holders. How would this work? There's no mortgage to pay off, there is one other lien holder but I have first place.

I'm having to repossess because they allowed their home owners insurance to laps. When I spoke to the company about it they said they would not reissue them a policy and that since they had committed insurance fraud nobody else will issue them a policy either. It's written in the contract they must have insurance or I can repossess. I'm not comfortable with my property not having insurance.

    Yellow rose tattoo?

So I went to a tattoo artist and told him I wanted roses like this in a tattoo. I like all the shading but I want yellow roses. He said basically that if we do that it will end up looking muddy and awful. He said we could do them with an outline and no gray shading. He did warn me as far as the life of the tattoo these roses would hold up better, and that yellow ink doesn't hold up well. My question is does anyone have experience with yellow ink and how it ages? What would you do? The yellow does have meaning since I'm from Texas but if it's going to look awful in a few years I'll pass.
