Don't - both are seriously corrupted by religion...

Seriously, you want to understand the Bible and Gods message to mankind. Start at the library.. Antropology and history to understand the culture at the time the scriptures were written, Greek and Hebrew to understand the text that was received rather than the religion influenced translations of those texts. Textual criticism is mostly nonsense - you can ignore those idiots they have to get published and the only way to get published is to be create contraversy where there is none. Then to top things off, I suggest Velikovsky's Worlds in Collision and Earth in Upheaval. This ties ancient mythology, history and science together demonstrating that mythology is not just stories but humanities shared history.

Put all those peices together and you will be astonished at how the Scripture, mythololgy, science, culture, history all complement each other and produce comprehensive and coherent picture that is not obtainable from any one discipline alone, or in religion or in atheism.. Reality can only be understood if one applies a multi-disciplined approach.

My brothers went to Liberty. All I can say is that the tiniest infraction will get you expelled. If you're caught with alcohol, drugs, having sex, etc. you're gone. Don't go if you want to have a little fun.

Oh, and they don't support evolution. Some Christians do, some don't, but if you are one that does, arguing for evolution will get you expelled too

Honestly, as a former Youth Pastor, I recommend AGAINST those schools. The theology taught at those schools is inaccurate at several points and, frankly, is pretty simplistic.

There are many good Christian universities depending on what you wish to study. To recommend a particular school, I'd need to know more about what you want to study.

    Learn what you can.

I wouldn't go there. They are legalistic, from what I gather.

For instance, the 2011-12 Student Handbook states, "Students are to avoid any types of entertainment that could be considered immodest or that contain profanity, scatological realism, sexual perversion, erotic realism, lurid violence, occultism and false philosophical or religious assumptions." Grounds for immediate dismissal include stealing, immorality (including sexual relations between unmarried students), possession of hard-core pornography, use of alcohol or drugs, and participating in a public demonstration for a cause the university opposes.[144] Similar "moral failures" are grounds for terminating the employment of faculty and staff. In 1998, a homosexual alumnus was threatened with arrest if he visited the campus.

It works best if your IQ is already below 72, so it won't have too far to fall for graduation!

Be prepared for a second rate education that will not be thought of as legitimate even by other Christian colleges.

Don't if you want a real education.

I think you can choose more wisely in my opinion. I wouldn't send any of my kids there.
