Who has it easier in life: men or women?
This question is asking in general. Basically, there are only 2 options: men or women.
Please give thorough explanations. Best explanation gets 10 points! :D
If possible, you can incorporate the typical "gender roles." In fact, I encourage gender role arguments, as the one who can incorporate gender role arguments the best will get the 10 points.

men specially here at my place mostly 90% men don't do anything other than earning for family. no house hold chores, no taking care of infants, no helping the the kids in studies if wife is well enough to handle, no cooking work, no cleaning work, no laundry, no dishes. he wants everything in his hand. a glass of water, a cup of tea, even then when his wife is working (in an office) same hours as him still she is taking care of all household work single handedly coz guys won't help her no matter what, they will go without eating something if wife is unwell and unable to cook thus poor wife cooks even when she is unwell so as he shouldn't leave empty stomach. disgusting they are.
men can go anywhere anytime without any restriction or any fear they don't have to suffer physically the way women starts suffering from the age when she is still a kid and she suffers all throughout. giving birth to kids is like taking second birth to her. what do men do? they have pleasure all throughout their life, no pain, no physical suffering, no workload as it is on females. coz they have excess muscle power so they think they are better than women and that's it, that is the only place they are better than women. rest in every filed they are lacking, i bet if they even suffer 1/4 of what a women suffers they had committed suicide.

Gender roles are meant to be defied by the men and women, but personally I feel men have it tougher.
Short men are equally unattractive as fat women, but guess who doesn't have the hope of changing themselves, the short men. Both short men and fat women never receive dates
Humans don't grow till they complete their puberty, once they have gone through the puberty, they are done growing, while on other hand you can lose weight at anytime, even though losing weight for women is really tough due to the presence of estrogen, but they have hope at least, do short men have a hope to be taller, no, I understand their pain.

Men definitely have it easier. They won't ever have to give birth or go through a period. Men have more opportunities, and it is a proven fact that if a man and a women are working the same profession, the man is getting paid more. Men are known as the "superior" gender. Women can't even dream about sports because let's face it how many people actually watch women's sports? Men have the advantage in more ways than you could think of.

Women, sorry.
Live in this mind, then kill, go to war. Then get respect from other men. It's almost impossible.
Women are striving, and were designed to bear kids and that's difficult and all, but get more compassion something that is difficult to come for men at times.

Men.
Aside from the obvious biological stuff, here is a site overflowing with examples of male privilege which makes their lives easier than women's.

Women. There are plenty of men out there who are old fashioned and don't mind if their wives do not work, some even encourage it. What woman would be okay with her husband doing that? It's easier to clean, cook and watch after kids than it is to work 40+ hours a week. I've done both, I know. As for with men, you're not only expected to be the breadwinner in the family, you're supposed to be the strong protector and the passionate lover. Plan and simple, women expect more out of men than vice versa. I'm sure every women here will give me a "thumbs down" but it's the truth. There are obviously some exceptions, but that's my take on things.
