Symptoms of CO poisoning are: headache, vomiting, nausea, confusion, chest pain, irritability, unconsciousness, and more. You should being outside in fresh air for some time and if symptoms still exist then you should seek medical help. Blood picks up CO faster than it does oxygen so being in an oxygenated area for long will put more oxygen and less carbon monoxide in your blood. Hope this helps somewhat and be careful!!

If you are having breathing problems you would be wise to go to an emergency room and explain your problem. Usually, when someone inhales CO and is then able to leave the area there is no lasting damage. BTDT.

I think you'll be ok. But if you continue not breathing well, see your doctor.
I wonder if carbon monoxide monitors are recommended for a garage?
Have you ever been to a smog test for your car? Those guys must breath in tons more than you did. And they do it every day. I can hardly stand to walk inside the place.
