1991 fordranger fuel pump not turning on?
standard shift ranger , had to take out steering column, to change clutch pedal assembly ,got it mostly back together, it turns over,but i dont hear the fuel pump activating,i checked the fuel reset button under the dash and its ok, the button is all the way down,what could of gone wrong?

When things like that happen, the first place to check is in the area where the work was performed. Look for a wire that may have come disconnected, broken or shorted to ground. Also, check the fuse for the fuel pump. We can only guess. It could also be a coincidence that the fuel pump failed at the same time (not likely, but it can happen).
