there are many reasons and I think the entire system probably needs major reformation and that will cost a lot of money... in fact, I think some of that funding was designed to go to reforming some of the infrastructure...

When funding is diverted to pay for tax cuts to the wealthy, welfare to the wealthy through defense spending, funding to the wealthy through a privatized health care system, and other subsidies and giveaways to the wealthy, then there isn't enough funding for the VA, and it will start to break apart. But not to worry, we'll privatize Veterans health care also, so the wealthy can get a piece of that too.

It's VA POLICY to commit fraud. Budgets don;t cause that, particularly when the facilities are operating at half-capacity.

Let's actually LOOK at the VA’s budget. A 10-year overview published on its website showed that in fiscal year 2009 (Democrat controlled all of Congress), it totaled $97.7 billion. Now it’s $140.3 billion (with GOP majority in the House)…That’s a 43.6 jump.

Then, in 2012 the proposed funding for the VA was 132 billion, this year's was 152.7 billion, an increase of 20 billion, an over 10 % increase in two years.

So never mind the DEDADES of data showing that the problems with the VA amount to much more than the need for funding...

Do you honestly think that Obama and the Democrats truly care about our vets? Seriously? The last thing liberals care about is the military. If they could dismantle the military, disarm the citizenry and create a liberal Marxist 'utopia' where there is only peace and harmony throughout the world without crime, chaos, wars and hunger they would do it. Of course it would fail but they would congratulate themselves on their 'good intentions' and for trying.
