It is telling how much the VA funding has INCREASED ever since the GOP took the House.

    http://www.politifact.com/georgia/statements/2013/...

A 10-year overview published on its website showed that in fiscal year 2009 (Democrat controlled all of Congress), it totaled $97.7 billion. Now it’s $140.3 billion (with GOP majority in the House)…That’s a 43.6 jump AFTER the GOP got control in the House.

And never mind that Veterans Groups called out Bernie Sanders bill over funding issues...as usual the Dems have no idea how to fund their misadventures

The Veterans Administration does NOT need more money to solve its widespread and outrageous problems. It's the SYSTEM itself that REQUIRES CHANGE. All too often, incompetent administrators and their staffs band together to conceal their serious flaws from the outside world. Furthermore, no matter how inept and corrupted these administrators might be, they always see to it that performance reviews are excellent, promotions are widespread, and monetary awards liberal.

It isn't a Bill to support veterans; it's a Bill to prevent fixing anything at the VA by pretending their budget has ANYTHING AT ALL to do with the problem.

how is loading a "benefit" bill with pork spending and outright graft helpful to veterans...

oh that's right, you only read the pretty labels...

  • Why would they support the troops now? They've finished using them.

Supporting the war is really not supporting the troops, though they pretend it is.

Its more telling that liberals lack the ability to read and comprehend the bill!
