What to do with chocolate cake?

Question

Ok so I want to do something different with a cake, I know this sounds weird but there must be something. 
So I have a packet mix for a chocolate cake and I also have the icing but I want to do something really different, something like break up the cake and mix it with something and almost make something new. Any ideas?

Add powdered coffee? Blended Malted Milk balls? Freeze it, cut it into multiple layers and put Cool Whip between the layers before you ice it?

make a marble cake by taking white cake mix as well and then when you put the cake batter in put chocolate and then put the vanilla in after and make a swirl pattern it looks cool and its really good.

Make layers...use bananas and strawberries or raspberries and caramel for example.
Add some orange marmalade or apricot preserves.

Bake the cake normally slice it like bread and the prepare it like French toast, it sounds strange, but it's delicious! You could also make waffle (prepare batter according to directions) or pancakes (prepare batter according to directions and then add extra water until it's the consistency of a pancake batter).

I like to make trifle with chocolate cake. Whip up whipping cream, a package of chocolate pudding and crumble up your cake and crush up Skor chocolate bars. Then you take it all and do layers in a bowl - chocolate cake, pudding, whipped cream, chocolate bar crumbs until it is all gone. Tastes delicious! A real hit!
