WHY has Obama released 5 of the most dangerous terrorists in return for a man who was awol?

On the TODAY show this morning they reported that the serviceman had left his platoon "disillusioned" and that he wandered away without any firearms. Sounds like a desertion to me. Was it worth trading him for 5 of the worst Taliban?

Sounds like someone who was a candidate for a suicide to me but Burgdahl decided to commit suicide-by-Taliban by shedding his equipment (symbolically leaving the military) and wandering off into the night. I'm part of that small number of US citizens who are still tough and unafraid so the release of the terrorists doesn't bother me. As an American, I'll deal with it. For those of you for whom being an American just means having stuff, being safe and living the good life, I'm sorry you have to worry about so many things that might affect your freakin' comfortable life style.

Reagan admitted arms (more than 1,500 missiles) were traded for hostages and Cons call him a great President.

Bush released 500 from Gitmo for nobody and the right didn't say a damn thing.

Netanyahu exchanged a thousand terrorist for one Israeli soldier and Cons call him a strong leader.

Obama exchanged 5 POW’s for an American POW and you Cons are going crazy.

    FYI

The charges against Sergeant Bergdahl should be proven in a military court.

Obama did nothing of the sort.

You can draw whatever conclusion you desire. But until the Army investigates the matter, your opinions have no credibility. Your question is a hypothetical.

"Sounds like a desertion to me."

That's only because you have no ******* idea what you are talking about.

We have drones to track these 5 now. Don't you think it might be clever to do so, if they are still up to no good??
