Whats with the Job story. God is fooled by satan, making him once again imperfect. Or was god going along?

God gave Satan permission to destroy Job's life, despite being all knowing. So he did it to prove his worth to a being he created (Satan). Seems pretty pointless right?

Through the rebellion and disobedience of humans Satan has been given a measure of authority in this world and ability to act against humans - but Satan is a means of testing humans and he is under God's higher and ultimate control. Satan could not kill Job, but Job was tested for his greater good -he was more blessed in the final phase of his life than the earlier years.

Rewards for faith and faithfulness to God are also enjoyed in Heaven, especially for those whose experiences in this life have been tougher and more painful than most.

Job's family weren't murdered.

God and Jesus ALWAYS knows the answer to the question before it is even at the lips of the person. Not many gods of this world, can make this boast.
