Didn't finish atm transaction, $100 stolen?
So I put $100 in my bank account in cash. I forgot to press the final "are you done with your transaction" button and I left. I bank with Chase, so usually the money will get spit back out when it get's timed out. I walked about 5 blocks and realized what had happened. So I sprinted back and there was no money. The bank was already closed. Is that considered stealing? What can I do about it? I only have $4 to live off of for a week, so this is really important to me. It's basically more than 10 hours of working.

Ask the bank to pull the video. Not much else they can do. They are not responsible for your mistake and chances are that the video will not identify the person that walked past, saw the money sticking out of the ATM and well... helped themselves.

I'm confused you put a 100 dollars into your bank? So you made an ATM deposit? If you did that the money is still in the machine and the bank will figure it out.
Now if you are pulling money or making a withdrawal from your account the money may have gotten sucked back in by the machine (depending on the type it is). You would have to contact your bank/check your account balance, etc.
They can pull security footage and see who may have came next, but I doubt they can do much else for you since you basically left money just laying out.

contact the bank in the morning they should be able to fix it they should have on file what transactions were made they can also find the video for the day. they should get alot of these things like yours that happen with so many people alot likely have done it so they should havea way to get your 100 back the video should show if anyone has taken it also

you messed up, you could call the bank and see what they can do. no harm in trying.
but other then that, the 100 bucks is most likely gone. looks like it's canned food all week.
just be happy you still got your job, so it's not the last 100 coming your way
