Im thinking about giving up atheism please help me?

Christians do not deny there being dinosaurs. We believe they also were created by God approximately 6000 or so years ago, but not millions and billions of years ago. We believe the flood of Noah destroyed them all when the first world was destroyed by God. We believe the flood of Noah made the Grand Canyon with the water from above and below. In America, when Mt. St. Helen's erupted we saw quickly how some had confused millions of years ago that actually happened in a few hours. Scientific theories are just that = theories or someone imagining and assuming. Ancient literature confirms the worldwide flood. Every culture has stories of a great flood that destroyed all mankind in it except for a man and his family.

There are only two ways to believe - God's way or man's way. I choose God's way and therefore accept Jesus the Christ the Savior of this world.

What you need, is a remedial English lesson.

So you are going to believe in some ancient mythology because you're lonely?

Join a club. volunteer. Don't pick up religion because you want friends- that is one of the worst reasons to believe in something I've heard in ages.

You don't have to believe in gods to be a part of a community with similar beliefs. Find a local atheist group or meet up with other people you know who are atheists. You can dress up and everything, but however you want. Don't start going to a church just to go to church, find a community that you won't have to stay silent and suppress your actual thoughts.

Try reading the Book of John (NIV). That will give you a foundation.

I would start by attending a Lutheran Church (ELCA). They are pretty liberal and will teach you the basics of Christianity. Christianity is a good choice because like 75% of the US is Christian.

Well, you don't need a religion to complete yourself, but if you must join a church, give this one a look.
