What's a good high quality video camera that's compatible with Macs?

I currently shoot youtube videos with a Kodak Zi8 pocket camera, which is decent but I'm thinking about upgrading to something better. Any suggestions people? I need something that's not too bulky, good quality, able to be mounted to a tri-pod and most importantly needs to be compatible with Macs since I do all my video editing on my Mac.

Price is not an issue as long a the requirements above are met. Thanks in advance!

    Anything in the Canon HF series or above.

    Anything in the Sony HDR series or above.

    Anything currently available from Panasonic, GoPro, JVC, Samsung... and others.
