Recommend me some books to read?

My favorites are Hatchet and Into the Wild. Some kind of survival story. I also really enjoy Jack London.

I recently read the Fault in our Stars and the Divergent series.

Anything good or popular to suggest?

Update:

I read a Walk in the woods, was a good read but was very dissapointed with the second part.

You might like A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson.

Have you read Lord of The Flies by William Golding? I read it in high school, it's a classic. Also a survival story, about a group of boys who survive a plane crash on a deserted island

You might like True Grit by Charle Portis. It's a western style story about a 14 year old girl who wants to avenge her father's death. Not exactly a survival story, but it has some similar elements. I found the main character a bit annoying but still strangely admirable

Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson - a boy, a hidden treasure, a mysterious island, pirates! Need I say more?

Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell. It's a kid's book and I'm not sure how old you are, but you might still like it. It was my favourite when I was about 10. About a native girl who gets left behind on an island alone when her tribe gets moved to the mainland. Based on a true story

The Chrysalids by John Wyndham is sort of survival based. It's futuristic and slightly sci-fi, about a couple kids who have a form of mutation that could get them expelled from society if anyone finds out

Julie of the Wolves by Jean Craighead George. Also a kid / teen book, in a series. It's about an Inuit girl who runs away and survives alone on the Tundra

That's all I can think of right now, hope it helps fill your bucket list though!
