My Parents Wake Me Up Early?!?
During the school year, whenever it'd be a weekend my parents would wake me up early, around 7-ish to do chores and such even though I'd wake up at 6 AM every day during the week for school and such.
Now that it's summer I was expecting at least a few days to be able to sleep in. But my first day of summer vacation, my mom comes walking in right when the sun comes up and yells at me to get up.
She well knows that this summer I won't be relaxing. Every day besides weekend days I have to go to my dad's work, and then for a month I'll be gone on a mission trip. Then I take off for a two week trip to Wisconsin for some campout thing that my mom is forcing me to go to.
I will basically have 3 days to relax, and this was one of them. And she woke me up veryyyy early. She knows that I'm stressed and needed this summer to sleep and relax and yet I have a lot to do this summer: a mission trip, campout, and going to my dad's work every day. And the only three days I have to relax she comes in and wakes me up. Am I being a spoiled brat? All I'm asking for is these 3 days out of my summer...HELP.

When you grow up you will have to get into a routine, she is preparing you for that. Sounds like you are old enough to learn responsibility since you are going on a mission trip, she is trying to help you develop this. My kids had to be on the bus at 6:30 a.m. to be at school at 7:15. It's just the facts of life, might as well get used to it now.

One of the most biggest misconceptions about summer break is the break part. Summer IS NOT meant to be a time to do whatever you want and totally forget about doing productive things. Culturally, the US grew to accept this change because slowly, we're growing into a more lazy society. What your parents are doing is actually something you will be grateful for later in life, whether or not you like it now, in the moment. Being able to wake up early is something a lot of people have to do in order to get to work in time, and it gives you more time to do things during the day. Also, the fact that your parents are making
you do things over the summer is also something to be grateful for, otherwise, I'm sure you would have to experience some sort of boredom from doing nothing at some point during your summer. Although this has to be under moderation, because you do have to have SOME time for relaxation, which you were granted. I'm 16 and I wake up at 5:00 AM, I am going to do volunteer work, cross country, a medical program, a job, and several conventions during my summer "break". There are people who have it worse, especially people in the military (which I also plan on being). Just keep in mind that this WILL help you later on, and even now, and people have it A LOT worse.
Putting a thumbs down on peoples answers when they're trying to help you isn't the best thing you can do for yourself in this situation, just saying.

Just sleep in anyway and go to sleep at 5 AM. That way you won't hear them coming.
