Tú lo has dicho, aterrizar es poner el avión en una pérdida comtrolada, dado que aterrizar es poner el avión en el piso a la menor velocidad posible teniendo en cuenta el peso y las condiciones climáticas

LA VELOCIDAD DE APROXIMACIÓN SIEMPRE SUELE SER 1.3% SOBRE LA VELOCIDAD DE PERDIDA EN CONDICIONES NORMALES.
LA VELOCIDAD DE APROXIMACIÓN NO SIEMPRE ES LA MISMA EN AVIONES DE MAS DE DOS MOTORES Y CON PESOS QUE SUPEREN LOS 2 M IL KILOGRAMOS O 6 MIL LIBRAS.
EL BUEN ATERRIZAJE VA SUJETO A UNA BUENA APROXIMACIÓN , HACER LA `PARALELA A UNA ALTURA ADECUADA Y ESPERAR LA PERDIDA SUAVE CON LA PISTA

En aviones pequeños si, pero en aviones comerciales la velocidad de aproximación está por encima de la velocidad de perdida, lo suficiente como para no tener el riesgo de entrar en ella
