Is Christianity being replaced by U.S culture?

Most Christians won't like this answer, but I am old enough to have watched the massive culture change occur in America.

It began with Ronald Reagan and his devastating economic program that was supported by talk radio. That is also when televangelists came into our homes speaking about the need for a culture war. The worst and the worst came together.

I'm sure Reagan was a nice man, but his understanding of fiscal affairs was so short-sighted and provably wrong that he set up the problem we have today with a huge disparity of wealth - where greed runs the day. His administration was beset with so much corruption - more than any other president. Wealthy people who owned TV and radio networks liked the special treatment they received under Reagan, so they came to his defense in a big way - in another culture war.

So there are two culture wars going on.

The culture war has already backfired on the Christian community that turned away from acceptance (except in the south where bigotry is still strong) and started spewing hate, judgement, and intolerance and telling people that they do not deserve to own their bodies or be treated with equality under the law. They became very "in your face" and "in your business". Christianity is nothing like the Christianity I grew up in. It turned into a very dark religion. Love has no place in it. It's all fear.

The other war - the fiscal war being waged against the poor and the middle class - is in the process of backfiring. Mathematically, it is 100% guaranteed that the entire economy will collapse.

Unfortunately, it's hard to get elected if you don't have the support of the fundamentalist Christians who have declared war on their fellow citizens. These two abominable wars have become a super war - waging incredible psychic damage on ALL of us - themselves included. But as the economy will collapse, and those who are in our face with their God don't understand that their god is really money - because if their God was God, they would depend on God to provide, as Jesus said God would. So Christians turned to the teachings of Paul to avoid having to do a Jesus said to do - and that Pauline religion is the most recent incarnation of Christianity.

Few people understand that the Constitution of the United States of America was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court -- and that when your elected officials speak of the constitution. they are speaking of the laws and judicial precedents that constitute America. The Supreme Court doesn't have the constitutional authority to throw out the Constitution, but they did so anyhow.

Most people haven't read the Constitution. Less thann 2% can pass a Constitutional literacy test. We can fix the problems if Christianity would stress being more Christ-like and Americans would educate themselves and prepare for the days to come when America's God (money) dies.

Unlike the authors of the Constitution, the Pilgrims, who had actually suffered religious persecution, were not afraid to being the Mayflower Compact with, "In the name of God, Amen".

The Preamble, on the other hand, replaces God with "we the People", placing man first. "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:3.

The First Amendment gives people the right to practice and preach false religion. This is contrary to Deuteronomy 13.

"No Religious Test" is contrary to Deuteronomy 17:15, 18-19.

Don't borrow from other nations. Deuteronomy 15:6.

No eminent domain. Deuteronomy 19:14 and compare I Kings 21.

The culture of the USA is the Black horse, Communism the Red, White the Catholic church, the pale horse Islam and these are the 4 spirits of the world we are in today.

People want to be Christian, by picking their choices and denying what goes against their particular sin, they think they can wrinkle the Gospel and still get results. While calling those that call a spade a spade, bigots, unkind, unchristian, anything to deceive their own selves and worst, others that don't read The Gospel; The Road To Holiness by Jesus Christ alone...

And THESE are the ANTICHRISTS, that want to remain in the world and be of it without ever admitting there is a need to REPENT and turn from their wicked ways, otherwise what's HOLY in them? They want to do abortion and refuse to acknowledge a killing...

One preacher made a big thing of how he put down limits and he address all but left out abortions, because that one offends to the core those that refuse to admit the killing.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is True, and Grace for all who repent with the help of Jesus Christ, Who died rather than compromise one dot or tittle of The Gospel of Grace of Jesus Christ.

When you can't even confess that evil is evil and want to call evil, good and good, evil. Well, it's self evident that you might get the whole world to agree with you but never Jesus Christ's True Gospel. Quit the deception, then and only then you are forgiven by calling on The Name Of Jesus The Christ, King of The Jews, Lord of Lords...and you will go to heaven for eternity, for God IS LIGHT AND IN HIM THERE IS NO DARKNESS AT ALL...

Out of 2,000yrs of Christianity, the past 50 years have seen the largest rebellion against Christ's message and have witnessed the largest fallout among believers in HISTORY.

I kinda follow you, but now the President is basically rewriting the Constitution. America was intended to be a God fearing Country. That's why God was included in everything, etc. Money, "So help me God" in the courtroom, "In God we trust." Now that's all gone. In some places you can be arrested for praying in public. Sounds crazy, but it's true.

It's obvious. Ever since radical anti-gay activist Anita Bryant began sinfully redefining homophobia as a "sincerely held religious belief" in the mid-70's, pro-homophobia advocates have proliferated and it's been all down hill for America. Now we've got Duck Dynasty "Christians" redefining racism, homophobia, discrimination and pedophilia as "faith" and "values" driving our nation further into the toilet. Just how long do you suppose God is going to allow Himself to be mocked like this?

This is not just America! Look at Hitler and Communism! Also in Central Europe where X-rated is normal.

Too many lazy people have removed God's real Love from their lives just to be selfish and lazy and inconsiderate like yourself and lust for cuss words!~

The reason is very simple, as people become more informed, they are less likely to believe in ancient superstitions.
