Tattoo designs advice?
I've been thinking about getting a tattoo recently. I was looking online and found a few designs I like. Sleeves especially look great. Only thing is: Since this would be my first tattoo I'm hesitant and don't want to commit to full sleeves just yet. My question is what do you recommend for a first tattoo, or your advice anyways. Thanks in advance.
I'm 20.

The outer part of your upper arm is one of the least painful places. Maybe start with a tattoo there. Let the artist know that you are eventually hoping to incorporate it into a sleeve and they will help you come up with some ideas that could be added to later or just left as a single tattoo if you decide not to go the full sleeve route.
EDIT- I found this picture. I'm not sure if the arm is going to eventually get colored, but it can at least give you an idea of how the two different styles look together.

I'd go small first with a word on the inside of my wrist. It would be easy to cover up with makeup if I ended up changing my mind.
