Jeep grand cherokee.Could it be the ignition switch?

My 98 grand Cherokee has 3 symptoms that may or may not be related.

1- The interior lights don't go off.

2- The 'key in ignition' chime continues after removing the key until the driver door is closed

3- Even with the fuse for the interior lights removed the battery goes dead after a couple days. (This may be a bad battery, I had it tested and they said it was good but it's 5 years old)

Could the ignition switch be the cause of any of this?

Thanks

I would gues the chimes going with the keys out would be the ignition, maybe the interior lights and battery, there must be something wrong with the ignition, just need to change it and see, or maybe unplug the ignition and see if the lights go out.
