Should I go to Full Sail University?
I've been looking at colleges for game art, and I've seriously been considering Full Sail. Every review I've read has either been by someone who loved it or thought is was a total scam. But it seems like that is the case for almost every college I've looked at. Their Game Art program looks great, and I'd love to live in Florida, but I'm still a little wary. I don't think that the school is regionally accredited, but I don't plan on going to any other school, so that shouldn't really matter, right? I'm not completely sure how it works.

youd be better to go somewhere else, their degrees aren't achnowledged by most costs a lot more than other options however I will tell you Ive known a lot who went there and they liked it a lot, Ive known a lot of teachers and they all say same thing that it's not where one should go. I think if youre looking for a good experience it sounds good but recognition or practicality not so much

Mamawisdom is right. You'll get a MUCH better education for about 10% of the price at a public community college. For profit schools reduce the rigor of courses to increase profits, and employers know this. They will ALWAYS hire someone from a public or non-profit school over you if you go there.

It is a terrible school to attend. I bet you will pay a ton of money in tution because it is a for-profit, private school that is no where near its worth. Its like paying Harvard tuition for a piece of paper that is worth less than Enron stock. A month is hardly enough to learn much about the course, so I don't think you will get much out of this. It is such a weak curriculum. The lack of accreditation can be a problem too, with the employers.
Find some better schools that offer a related major instead. AVOID FULL SAIL and other for profit garbage like University of Phoenix.

Full Sail is a scam school, much like Univ of Phoenix. Do not fall for it.

Full Sail is a for-profit school. Think of it as a business whose product is training classes. It is really a trade school. It is not a traditional university -- no dorms, sports, fraternities, etc. The courses are intensive, usually only lasting one month, which is why you can start at the benign of every month. In a traditional university, a class would last a quarter, trimester or semester.
If you are looking for fast, focused job training as opposed to a college education, it might be right for you.
It is expensive, $50-100K for a degree. They will work with you on financial aid -- but remember these will be loans -- it is a for profit company.
It not being accredited would mean that another school would not accept the classes you took. It might also damage your ability to get a job. I'm sure the folks at Full Sail will tell you that their graduates do very well because of the specific focus of their programs.
