I feel really Sick.. About Gay and Anti-Gay questions..?

Primitive religion has always lagged behind the improvement in moral attitudes and that is what these people are doing to Christianity – making it primitive!

There were people who opposed the abolition of slavery, emancipation for women, the banning of discrimination of women, the attempts to eradicate racism and now the need to eradicate homophobia!

Taking one sin to indulge in intolerance, hatred, bigotry, homophobia and persecution will never be acceptable in the eyes of God!

Anglican leaders from around the world have clearly stated their opposition to the "victimization or diminishment" of gays and lesbians, saying demonizing and persecuting them was "totally against Christian charity and basic principles of pastoral care".

"We say that no one should have to live in fear because of the bigotry of others."

The Mormons poured millions into forcing through prop 8 in CA: to ban gay marriage. In August 2010 the court held that to be unconstitutional. On 15 June 2011 the San Francisco court upheld that decision because it violates the constitutional rights of citizens. On 7 February 2012 the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals struck the California law again finding that the California state constitution banning same-sex marriage violated principles of due process and equal protection under the law.

The court found that the ban violates equality laws to target a minority group and withdraw a right that it possessed, without a legitimate reason for doing so. Proposition 8 serves no purpose, and has no effect, other than to lessen the status and human dignity of gays and lesbians in California. The constitution simply does not allow for laws of this sort.

The Supreme Court upheld the early court decision. Thus anyone married in any state or country where gay marriage is legal is legally married in all American states and most countries in the world!

Gay marriage is now legal virtually everywhere and that will be marriage and not civil partnership!

In the UK The intolerance, bigotry and homophobia from Christians resulted in it being classed as a hate crime with severe sentences. It has led to the government framing legislation which if enacted will replace "Civil Partnership" with full marriage. France, New Zealand, Spain and ten other countries have legalized gay marriage and others have commenced legislating to do so!

The loving god works in mysterious ways.

If you're against gay marriage, here's what you do...

DON'T MARRY SOMEONE WHO'S THE SAME SEX AS YOU!!!

See how simple that is? Problem solved.

Now go extend everybody else the same courtesy of being able to live their life in a way that makes them happy.

That's because it's been flagellated to death on the interwebs....the information stream takes you away because the current is very strong.

I myself is catholic but also gay. I would always think °Does God still love" and questions like that cause I was always worried and ashamed of myself. But now that I accepted it, the only thing I wish is for my family and friends to accept me and love me no matter what I am. Cause at the end, love is what counts the most, right?

Life is like being lost. You are born in a world not understanding how or why you exist and in the end you are given two options a powerful being is responsible of which you may never have any proof he exist or a unexplainable bang happened of which you will never understand how it occurred.

So everyone stops thinking about it because...its pointless as many feel and say. What i'm getting at is that its easy for a person to become lost and reaching a point where evil is just...relative to ones personal preference.

You on the other hand hold dear to God and Jesus. Maybe your experienced or know or just have faith. It doesn't matter really, all that matters is that you believe. What would Jesus do? He wouldn't condemn a gay person. He would most likely pray, pray for that person to see what he saw, so that they could be saved and it would be done because of who he was and his faith.

Telling a person they are wrong, isn't going to help. Its just going to cause fights and sadness and hate and distance of feeling rejected. You want to change a gay person then do your job as a child of God. Pray and believe your prayer are going to work and help. God can change the hearts of people better than anyone. So do your job and pray for them and all the others and believe.

Welcome them, but also remember to explain your not encouraging them and wish to be respected in that regard. Just that you care about them a lot and want the best for them. Regardless of what you think is right.

Regardless of if they change during their life, your prayers alone could be the difference between God forgiving them and accepting them after death.

Jesus gave us the church, and the church, led by the Holy Spirit, completed the Bible. Keep praying for your niece.

Being lesbian is not a sin. The Bible verses that are used to oppose homosexuality are taken out of context.

Our sexual orientation is decided in the womb.

They didn't know that, when the Bible was being written thousands of years ago.

Accept your niece. Love her and support her. Don't listen to the bigots and haters.

Jesus wants you and your neighbors to stone your niece to death.

Not only would it be abjectly foolish to think that a just and benevolent creator would actually be so cravenly petty as to condemn and malign a perfectly normal, natural aspect of human nature such as variation in sexual orientation, one of his own creations no less, but it's reasonable to presume that God is, in reality, not at *all* pleased about such bigotry being falsely espoused in his name, or the fabrication and subsequent perpetuation of this erroneous and denigrating depiction by those who first neglect to give what the Bible says any rational examination before making a determination regarding whether any particular verse is genuinely God's inspired word, or the faulty perspective of a flawed human author, and then proceed to ascribe to this loving deity the disgrace of their own ignorant hate.
