Why is my rabbit only peeing on me and my bed?
I recently adopted a 5 to 6 month old rabbit about a month ago. She's always been super sweet and friendly from the start. She was also litter box trained by the family who abandoned her and she's always only peeing and pooping in her cage.
...Except on my bed. She has free reign of the upstairs (my room, the hallway, my brother's room, my parent's room, a bathroom) and she can jump so she loves getting on the beds, mostly mine and my brother's.
She has no problem with the peeing on my brother's bed. She's never peed on it once. But she pees on mine every time she's up there.
We have 3 cats who are upstairs and on the beds a lot, and at first we thought it was the cats being on my bed, but then the same cat started sleeping on my brother's bed a lot and still the rabbit didn't pee up there.
I'm usually in my room doing homework or just relaxing while my brother is only in his room to sleep. So maybe my bed has more of a smell to it than my brother's? I'm not sure.
For right now, my rabbit is banned from my room. I have to close my door because she can easily jump the gate we had up there at first.
Has anyone else had this problem and figured it out? I've never had this problem with my past two rabbits. Hopefully it'll get better with age and we're getting her spayed in a couple of weeks.
*She'll also pee on me, a problem I've had with past rabbits. If she's on the couch downstairs (she's not there long...maybe 5 or 10 minutes?), she'll sit on my lap and p
She is litter box trained and I strip my bed, wash my sheets, and I've even had to throw out a pillow before.

Cats, dogs and humans are predatory. The predator is not just different from prey animals, physically.
The rabbit is simply relieving itself when it feels comfortable. It can be litter trained, but it's going to take more patience than a dog or a cat, as the animal will never really connect with the concept of cleanliness in any meaningful way.

Is she spayed? This may help- but every time my rabbits get on my bed they pee on there, too. I think it's just a rabbit thing. I'm not sure why your rabbit would only pee on your bed though. Its strange!

you need to wash your bed sheets and everything on it VERY well. Animals will constantly pee on the same spot if they've pee'd on it before and they can still smell a little residue.
