How do I remove set in sunscreen stains?
I have these horrid orange marks on two of my shirts from spray sunscreen. I used biokleen (organic) detergent and vinegar when I washed them. I haven't put them in the dryer in hopes the stain will not set in. Is there anything that can take these stains out? One shirt is a white and blue batik pattern and the other is a mud-dyed t-shirt, so I need something that will not affect the colors, presuming I can get the stains out.

I agree with Mallie that I've never heard of sunscreen turning orange, but I do have some ideas on how to try to remove the stain.
1. Rub dish soap into the stain. Let that sit for about a half an hour. Then launder again. Use non-organic dish soap, like Ajax. Non-organic tends to be stronger and might work even though Biokleen failed.
Do not use dishwasher detergent. Make sure you use the type of dish soap made for hand-washing dishes.
2. If the dish soap doesn't remove the stain, pour 91% isopropyl rubbing alcohol over the stain. Let that sit a minute. Then repeat step 1.
91% isopropyl rubbing alcohol is just rubbing alcohol, but it's stronger than regular rubbing alcohol. You can buy it in the first aid section at most drug stores.
3. If both step 1 and step 2 fail, ask your local dry cleaners if they can remove the stain.
Good luck.
