What do sore muscles mean?
i'm 13 and i play volleyball competitively in school and on a club team. the school season is in the fall and club season is around winter-spring, like 5 months. i just started a volleyball camp two days ago thats part of my club and i am sooo sore all over. i think because i haven't played in a while, but i've been exercising and running a lot. like my thighs, calves, shoulders , abs, everywhere! it hurts to walk sometimes and sit and stand up. what do the sore muscles mean? does it mean those muscle are getting stronger, or am i just out of shape? lol thanks!

This is a good thing! Sore muscles is a sign of DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness), which means that while you were working out your muscles developed micro-tears. On your recovery days, your body works to repair these tears, using extra material to ensure the micro-tears don't happen again. When this happens, the muscle gets physically larger and stronger. Keep up the good work!

You broke down your muscles through exercise. They will rebuild and become stronger

They mean that you showed the lady a good time. Be proud of it!

You are using muscles you don't normally use or using harder than normal and they are rebuilding to improve!
It's pretty basic!
